Bagged Bargains: July - August

Hi there!

I thought that this week I could show you some of the things I have been able to pick up from places like Vinted, Charity shops and Facebook. Most of the things will probably be stuff for Sophie. I do like to try and pick up children's items up cheaper as they can be SO expensive, so I'm always looking for things that will do for Sophie as cheap as I can.

Vinted 

Not only do I love that you can get some nice items that are cheap on Vinted, I also love the fact that a lot of the sellers on there have bundle discounts. Meaning, if you buy multiple items from one person, you get a little bit of money off. When I'm buying any clothes for Sophie on there, specially if we're buying the next size up, I have a stroll thought the rest of the sellers items to see if there are more that we like and in Sophie's size. Which is exactly what I have done below.

Everything above that I purchased from Vinted, was from one seller. The total of the items above should have come out at £9.50 PLUS buyer protection and postage. Instead, they came out at £7.20 (saving £2.30) meaning overall with buyer protection and postage, it was £10.37. 

Facebook


Free

I was able to pick this Toot Toot track up, for free, from a local Facebook buying and selling page. I don't know much about Toot Toot items, but I do think that this is about 3 different items plus a bus and cat. This isn't a problem for us as there is a bit of track so we can kind of connect the 3 different pieces together. Sophie has seemed to enjoy playing with it.



That's it for the months of July and August. I'm thinking of making this a bit of a series. I don't think it would be every month as some months I can go without picking anything up. So maybe every 2-4 months?

What I Packed in my Hospital Bag

  Hi there!   I thought I would do a bit of a list on what I packed for myself and for Sophie for our hospital bags.    There are many, many lists of what people pack already out there. I’m also going to add some things I wish I had taken and some bits that I just didn’t bother with.    I think I packed and re-packed the bags so many times and I changed which bags I was taking about 3 times. In the end I just ended up taking my suitcase and a bag for Sophie.     For reference, I went in to be induced so I wasn’t sure how long I would be in hospital for.   Hi there! Welcome to my first post on my new blog. 👋🏻 I’m Kerry, engaged to Leonard and mummy to 19 month old Sophie. I currently work part time and have been with the company for nearly 6 years.
