Pampers Poonami Refund Process

 Hi there!

We’ve tried different brands of nappies for Sophie since she has been born. When she was just in nappies, we would switch between Pampers nappies and another brand which were just as good. It would always depend on where we were, when we needed to purchase more. Then we moved to nappy pants and the choice just seemed to drop. We were still happy to use Pampers though, as we hadn’t really had much of a problem with them up to this point.

Poonami Proof?

Pampers had been advertising that their nappies were “poonami” proof. Meaning that they don’t leak. These adverts also stated that if they did leak, you could get your money back.

But are they poonami proof as they claim? Up to this point, we had been pretty happy with Pampers nappies. Before moving onto pull ups, Pampers were in our top two brands of nappies. The other brand, unfortunately do pull up nappies. We had a few wet leaks from Pampers, but these were not as bad as other brands. They had also stood up a lot better to holding in poonamis, against other brands. We mainly found that they would leak if we were needing to size up on the nappies.

But they did let out. They held nothing in. Let's just say it was an absolute disaster.

Refund Process

As they stated you could claim your money back, if they didn’t hold up, I thought I would give it a shot.

A few days after the nappy pant didn’t do what it was supposed to, I went to the Pampers website to see what the process was for this.

Turns out, it was actually easy.

There was a form to print out and fill in. There wasn’t much to fill in on the form. It was a straight forward form. This just asked for your info, like name and address, which nappies you purchased, what the reason was and where you purchased them from. You also need to include the receipt of the purchase of the nappies.

You have to pay for postage, so this was the cost of a stamp to send the form off. Then I forgot about it, until I received a letter back from P&G, that contained a cheque for the cost amount of the nappies. This was about a week later.

I didn’t really expect anything to come back from it, so it was a nice surprise to actually receive money back for the nappies. Just as advertised.

What do you think of Pampers? Which brand has worked best for you?
